Tempeh is a traditional soy product, that is made from fermented soybeans. It is made by a natural culturing and controlled fermentation process that binds soy beans into a cake form. Highly popular in Indonesia as a protein rich food, tempeh has a dry and firm but chewy texture and a slightly nutty taste.
